Samsung has recently released what they call their '5 in 1 Multi-Function Sports Camcorder' the SC-X300L. This small hand sized camcorder is highly portable and easily fits in a shirt pocket. It also can be used as a webcam and a MP3 player. The unusual thing about this camcorde, is it has an external head mounted camera lens.
Included with the SC-X300L are plenty of accessories, including power adapter, USB cord, RCA cable, ear buds, install CD and Software CD, stand, camera strap, external camera lens and head strap, and a camera bag.
The camcorder has a 1/6", 680K pixel CCD, a 10x optical zoom lens, and a 2.0" LCD with a resolution of 230K pixels. The SC-X300L records MPEG-4 video at a maximum resolution of 720 x 480 at 30 fps. To keep the camera size down, Samsung uses
SD and MMC cards for storage.
The SC-X300L has a lithium ion battery that can be recharged by either a USB cord connected to a computer or the included power adapter.
The maximum battery life for continuous recording is: with LCD screen on: Approx. 1 hr. 20 min. and with LCD screen off 1 hr. 40 min.
The unit can record in three different video quality settings: Super fine, fine and normal.
